It should be mandatory and one of the requirements for developers to supply free parking for customers .

I agree that free parking will encourage shopping in the Knysna Mall and Spar. Otherwise people will avoid Knysna Central and go elsewhere

Will also cause a bottle neck at exit as only one car can exit onto road at a time, having to wait for pedestrians and traffic before exiting. Which will hold up the queue behind to exit!

Can you imagine this, in season, when out of towners, regular visitors to the town, are confused & hold up THE N2 THROUGH KNYSNA while they try to figure out what's potting.....

Tried to install a ticket system before....didn't work! Knysna is not a city. I think shop owners should have a vote. Their sales will be directly impacted if the community shops elsewhere!
