We selected Kipp Austin Obras because of the bilingual program. We were told she would have it until the 4th grade. Unfortunately if Obras reduces its program it has a very strong possibility that I’ll be looking for another school to transfer her to. The fact that my child is able to be bilingual as I was is important to me and many other Obra parents.

One of the reasons Kipp obras has been so successful is for the dual language program and that is the reason why most of us parents chose this school among all others. Please keep bilingual classes as you have all these years, keep helping our kids in their success by knowing 2 languages.

If the bilingual program is removed I will withdraw my child from KIPP Obras and find another school for her to attend. This program is why we enrolled our child to this school.
