Kinder bar is a place socialize in an informal setting with teachers and students, outside of class ❤️ It’s one of the things I love about school

Kinder bar was one of my highlights from hotelschool. Being able to have a drink with teachers and students after school is great. Definitely a key selling point in the school’s appeal.

Kinderbar is such an important part of the bonding process during Hotelschool. It would be a great loss if it would be taken away.

It is a must have in hotelschool and getting rid of it will definitely change the overall atmosphere in school especially on Thursdays.

I was Kinderbar Manager during a year during my hotelschool period and I remember students coming there, mingling with teachers, family members, some just came out of classes, others were coming for a regular drinks and some were just passing by wanting to have a chat or a dance. It was a place of reunion where everyone felt accepted regardless of which association, country or class you were from. I t was the perfect place to release the stress from the week and / or to talk openly with your teachers in a different environment. It allowed me to improve my management skills and learnt a lot about handling a bar , creating new concepts, watching the finances, leading a social media platform and that was for me one of the best learning experience at Hotelschool because it was real. Above all, we gave the chance to any other individuals to help out and be part of the team. It is a must have in hotelschool and getting rid of it will definitely change the overall atmosphere in school especially on Thursdays.

Is there perhaps a valid reason why it has not been included in the new plans? Or is it perhaps just not shown in the video? Kinderbar had a big part to play in my student social life and I would be sad to see it go.

I shocked to find out that kinderbar is not in the new plan of hth campus. How is this possible? I wish all current students and coming students can experience this wonderful place. Not only the students but the lectures too!

Kinderbar is an essential part of what is Hotelschool student life, just like Skotel is. It gives motivated students the opportunity to learn how to run a small business while enjoying a great time with other students and faculty alike. Especially outside Kinderbars have always had the inviting charm for everyone to come and mingle. HTH would not be the same without it.

Kinderbar has been a big part of Hotelschool for so many years, even from before SQ was in the picture. It’s a place that alumni still often talk about, and something that we shouldn’t take away from new students. It’s a place for networking, celebrating and connecting. It’s an integral part of the The Hague campus.
