Un Necessary Expense. Afraid that after this new system gets installed our HOA fee might go up.

My mobile phone is also my work phone and I have limits to apps I can add PLUS the last thing I want to do is take my work phone to the pool.

I am concerned that you will now be storing my personal information in an application that has to be public facing for it to work. Given the team has struggled to manage the previous cards and the current fobs I am not inspired to believe they will properly protect my information. Will you be funding vulnerability scans and periodic penetration testing?

I do not agree with installing a new access system, especially one that requires the use of a cell phone for the following reasons: 1. The cost to install a new system. 2. Taking a cell phone into a restroom is unsanitary. (I don't even take my cell phone into my own bathroom!) 3. Cell phones are extremely distracting! * While a parent/guardian/babysitter has the best intentions to ensure their children are safe in the pool, a child can drown in the amount of time it takes for that parent/guardian/babysitter to unlock a cell phone and give it to someone in order to access the restrooms. 4. Cell phones and heat don't mix. * Exposure to heat can cause data loss or corruption. * Exposure to heat can permanently damage the internal components of a cell phone. * Exposure to heat can slow down your cell phone. * Repeated exposure to heat could lead to battery leakage, which is definitely not safe. 5. Cell phones and water do not mix. 6. Cell phones be stolen or picked up by mistake. 7. Not everyone owns a smart phone. 8. Cell phone service is not always reliable

I'm not a fan of having to take my phone wirh me every time I want to use the gym or pool.

Down with the phone key!! We want the key fob!!!

The cell service sucks and if you go to the Wi-Fi at the community center you get better reception with your phone Wi-Fi sucks too

Don't upgrade to mobile phone app access to the amenity center. Keep the fobs

I want to use fab keys only. Relying on Smart phone is the worst thing that we can do.

This truly does not make since. Key fobs are effective and if delivering is a problem I am sure you could get some volunteers to do that for the HOA. I volunteer. I lease and the fob is easier for us with our landlord. Please reconsider the new pool system and keep the traditional fob system.

Not for the downloading app the fog is the way to go.

There’s no understandable reason that we should be switching from a fob system. Relying on a phone system in a neighborhood with marginal cell signal to reduce the HOA management time is not going to work when you have many people needing help getting their phone to work. It’s also somewhat discriminatory to those that cannot access a phone capable of entry. Fob systems are plentiful and there is no reason they cannot be found.

My vote is NO for smartphone based app. Please keep original hardware key fobs.

Having to pay $50 for my 2 teenage children to be able to go to the pool without me is absurd. They are residents of this neighborhood and should be able to enjoy amenities without having to pay a fee (one time or not). This fee seems very high considering we are forced to have individual logins and cannot easily share the app like we would a traditional key fob.

Taking my phone to the bathroom is not only just plain gross but an inconvenience!
