Again we are back with this issue!!! What are THE EVIDENCES??? Who has THE EVIDENCES??? Can we have access to THE EVIDENCES??? I agreed that is The Village’s duty to act on facts!!!! So show us the facts and THE EVIDENCES!!! Because so far the investigations that have been conducted by the Village Athletics Advisory Board and FYSA as far as I know did not get the result that this parent was asking for and that is why we are here once again!!! This time to make things even worse, to try to finish with the soccer program that our kids LOVE, and for a council member to say that if we want our kids to pursue professional level soccer we should go independently out of the island is really out of line…in the current soccer program as is now you already have the intramural or peewee division so if any family don’t want their kids to compete, fine, just remove them from the travel team and move them to the recreational…this team has been in our community for decades and is really LOVED by many of the families that leave in our Island. If you have such grave evidences of misconduct and haven’t act for all these time even after conducting an investigation that really raises all kinds of concerns!!! Again show us the evidences and facts that are available…
My background is as an engineer, so during the last 5 years, you have how many documented complains? Who has these records, the Village Athletics Advisory Board, the council members, who? What are these complains, do they present “near-identical patterns” as said? Can we have access to all these materials, if they are public records? If you knew you had a problem why you did not act sooner?
This to find out if we really have a problem that we need to act on or is just a case of a few parents not happy with the decisions of a coach.

It's clear that without competition there is no drive for self-improvement; the Berlin Wall was brought down for that very reason. Where did they run when it fell?

Transparency, stability, and continuity matter—especially when it comes to organizations that serve our kids and our community.
Over the years, the club has grown thanks to consistent leadership, dedicated coaches, involved families, and a provider that has shown up day after day, not just when there’s something to gain.
Healthy oversight and dialogue are always welcome.
What’s not helpful are repeated attempts to destabilize what is working, especially when they resurface through different channels after having failed before.
This club belongs to the families, the players, and the community, not to personal interests or back-room agendas.
We remain committed to protecting the integrity of the program, supporting our children, and ensuring decisions are made based on facts, results, and what is truly best for the club.

The popularity of soccer and our academy is overwhelming and can be seen in plain sight any day as kids from KB compete and play. This situation is the result of a few well politically connected individuals who have interests that vary from the majority.

At a personal level our son loves the program, safe, friendly and healthy. As an organization, some of the best players in the region are at KBSC with great coaches, teammates and support locally.
