KBSC is a must have in the Key Biscayne village, for the mental & physical health of our kids & families. And this must include ALL competitive programas, and the Academy level… a must have!!!

Pichi and Jorge are doing an amazing job. To change this would be a huge mistake.

KBSC is a true gift to our community. Having experienced other clubs with international affiliations, I can confidently say that KBSC places far greater emphasis on the wellbeing, development, and sense of belonging of its players. A key reason for this success is the club’s current administration, whose leadership and values were a major factor in our decision to join KBSC. Replacing this group with unpaid coaches risks undermining the very culture and consistency that have allowed KBSC to thrive. The positive impact this program has had on my 12-year-old—and on so many other children—is exceptional, and it should be protected.

Key Biscayne council, please do not mess with our soccer program, it’s probably the only thing that works well in KB. Enough of your outdated approach to everything in the key. The new generations are the future and your approach to making things like they were in the 90’s is horrifying. Move on, respect the new generation and stay out of our soccer community, we do not need you, thanks

The programs is successful need to focus on the kids needs like more fields rather than breaking a successful program.

My children have been enrolled in the Key Biscayne Soccer Club since they were three years old. That was over seven years ago. I am beyond grateful for the program and their coaches.

Dear Village Council Members, I am writing to firmly support the continuity of the Key Biscayne Soccer Club (KBSC), specifically regarding the Academy and Competitive programs. My position is clear: If we are going to make changes to soccer on Key Biscayne, those changes must be to raise the bar, not lower it. We should be aiming for the highest standards of youth soccer development, such as the MLS Next level. Our goal must be to create an environment so professional and competitive that our most talented children do not have to leave the island to find the level of play they require. Forcing families to commute to Miami or Doral for elite training because the Village decided to "downgrade" or fragment our local program is unacceptable. We have the talent and the community support to build a powerhouse right here. I urge you to reject any proposal that disrupts our current progress. Instead, let’s work with the current leadership to push for even higher certification and elite competition tiers. Let’s keep our talent on Key Biscayne.

My son progressed from recreational to competitive to academy level. We had to leave the island for him to play MLS. Rather than moving backward into a structure that creates talent and family drain, we should be doing everything possible to stay integrated and take the necessary steps to bring MLS to the island. This proposal is illogical and a disservice to children who are striving to advance.

My son plays on the academy and we're very happy with the current organization. If anything we think the club needs more facilities to become MLS Next. We're also very happy with the coaches and community formed with other players and their families.

This is a gem for the island and the community Kids should continue to have competitive program
