What a ridiculous idea. What happens when a delivery truck has to stop in the only lane now available and stop traffic and make it back up etc. Example, the Tim Hortons truck usually makes 2 trips with the pallets. This has to be the worst idea.

There isn't enough parking in Kentville.. taking away parking and adding a bike lane is silly . Is there really that much bike traffic in town ?

Terrible idea! Assability is already reduced. It's had enough to get through when delivery trucks just park in the lane. How is emergency vehicles get through? You cannot just answer that by saying "I don't know. I remember driving through Kentville as a child and it was empty, it has become thriving and bow you want to spend money on an idea that is not thought out and may turn the town back into paper filled windows. I know if this happens I will not be coming to Kentville.

It gets congested enough and taking away a lane to give it to cycling is ridiculous. Especially since I don't remember the last time I actually saw someone on a bike cycling through Kentville.

I go to Kentville quite often and this change would certainly push me to do my shopping elsewhere if I can't park my vehicle after the congestion this would create. I may not live there, but I enjoy shopping there...for now.

Leave it as is, 1 lane will make it congested and people will stop going thru Kentville to avoid the slow traffic this will cause.

I think the person who thought this out did not think about how there is not enough parking spaces now without taking more away unless this person doesn't need to park downtown then is fine but sure not thinking of visitors coming to the area alone locals trying to find a place to walk especially the elderly. TERRIBLE IDEA to take this route try another off meeting to a trail is my opinion

It is already a chore to drive around town without removing parking spaces and congesting Webster Street even more. Are you actively trying to push more consumers out of Kentville and send their spending power into New Minas?
I try to do as much shopping as I can in Kentville but you would be making it harder for me to do so with this proposed change to Webster Street.
Please do NOT continue with this proposal for Webster street bike lanes.

This is a crazy idea. I would think they would be trying to attract more people to the downtown, not discourage them from coming. Not against a biking lane in Kentville somewhere, just not on Webster street.

I think this is a terrible idea for Webster St., there needs to be at least 2 lanes of traffic there. Where will the cars drive when they leave mountains of snow in the roads for days after a storm before cleaning it up, For example I was in Kentville last night (March 23), lots of snow in the road and parking spaces, granted it was only the next day after a storm but I have seen it stay there for days and there is no where to park.
