The idea of adding a bike lane in Kentville is great, but I can't believe they would waste the time pursing the idea of trying to incorporate it on Webster Street. The project is termed as "Beautification of Webster Street". That is simply an excuse to try and sell this proposal. This will destroy our Downtown in so many ways.

I'm gobsmacked that this is even being considered let alone study being funded in part by tax payers!

I think this is a terrible idea for webster street, you can re-route it around town and not through town.

How stupid can Kentville be...this will be just another reason for people to not go to Kentville and spend their money in New Minas

Kentville can't afford to lose parking spaces and people don't know how to drive in town properly anyway....don't change it now

Safety of bikers is totally in question here. As well as the room for big trucks that have to stop to deliver in the road..ie the Brinks truck. How will anyone get around It? People Will avoid Kentville since the main road ..Webster street..Will be come a nuisance to go through...and people are not patient or forgiving when this is a choice being made here. Traffic will get backed up, tempers will rise. I would even be willing to drive to New Minas and that the Middle Dyke Road to avoid that issue. Enough people doing that and business will not be as well as they are now. Who is willing to take That blame..??

Driving in down town Kentville is difficult due to congestion and one way traffic I believe this change will have a negetive impact. I live and work in Kentville and I believe this plan will drive business, shoppers and tourists away. If there is a need for a cyclist trail through town I highly recommend a different locaion. One that will not have a negetive impact on traffic flow.

Already too congested especially with delivery trucks!

Bike lane connecting the trail is a wonderful idea, but Webster Street is NOT the place to put it. Please reconsider this notion.

This will further conjest an area that is ridiculous already to get around the whole one way scheme in that area is frustrating don't need to make it worse

I am embarrassed to admit this is even a consideration. There are some who need to give their head a good shake!

It's too congested now especially 8-5 with delivery trucks traffic and pedestrians. I can't imagine one less lane for traffic

A terrible idea. There is not enough parking available now. And I do not believe that there is enough bike traffic to validate this radical change. Deal with the current issues. Don't create more. I know that if this change occurs I will go out of my way to avoid downtown. I'm sure others will do the same. Not good for business at all. Enough time, energy and money has already been spent on this. Please stop it now!

Parking is lacking now! Hard enough to drive around our little town now and a bike lane what are you thinking.

This has to be one of the WORST planning suggestions I have ever seen. If I owned a business in Downtown Kentville and this actually happened, I would RELOCATE out of the town. Parking and traffic are bad enough through the downtown core. This will make things MUCH worse.
