This would not be a good idea. I sometimes can't walk long distances so one those days I couldn't shop in those stores.

If traffic is reduced to 1 lane I will avoid Kentville. I go through town at least 4 times a day to get to work. I will be taking the connector to get to work if this happens. Which means any items I need to pick up after work will be bought in New Mina's. Sorry Kentville :(

Please, no bike lane on Webster Street. Not a good idea!

Bad idea! Why not create a dedicated one in the general area of the old railway line. Safer for bikers and drivers alike and doesn't interfere with traffic flow and parking.

Not enough parking in Kentville now, seems like a stupid move to take any of the few there are away.

Kentville is not set up for this idea. I don't see many bicycles on the streets in town. It will be like the 4x4 track for bikes the don't get used much.

Not a good idea at all. I enjoy coming into Kentville but find parking difficult enough. A bike lane would deter people away from Kentville. Kentville is coming back to life I’m the past few years again.....this will hurt business! I’m sure there would be better uses for their money

Even the drawing seems inaccurate to me. There are a total of four lanes (two for driving -- one way only, for whatever reason --and a parking lane on either side). If they can't even make the proposed project rendering correct, it's unlikely they've really thought this through.

Feel this would be very detrimental to the town and it's downtown business core.

It is difficult to shop in Kentville now due to the lack of parking...if it gets worse I will probably find alternatives, and avoid going to Kentville"

It may look more attractive ,but do we want business or just to look nice.We have a lot of seniors and walking at the best of times is hard on them, let’s consider them for a change ,they too spend money in town.If we don’t stay the same it will just become a business town....please don’t do that ...

There are better more productive things to do in Kentville. Please leave the roads alone, unless you are fixing the potholes in which case please fix the potholes. Thanks.

Traffic is often backed up going through Kentville, this will make it worse. People are already confused about how to drive in Kentville, surely this will lead to more accidents.

That will completely grid lock the area an promote alternative routes. Thus keeping customers from the down town core. Bad idea .

Cannot believe this is a consideration; we have witnessed a lower traffic since Dr Scott relocated to New Minsd. Now to remove parking spaces? Only can further impact fewer people coming to town.
Council should stay focused on attracting business not finding ways to discourage!
Sounds like the recreation department is the influencer here
