Mrs. Hayes has truly been a blessing, not only to our 3 daughters, but to our entire family! She has a heart of gold & she loves each & everyone of her students, families & staff members! It takes a special person to relate to kids at this age & Karen does it like no one else can! She is such a great roll model for these kids and makes each & everyone of them feel important & gives them the confidence to conquer anything that comes their way! Karen takes the time to not only be their principal but to also be their friend, mentor & biggest supporter!

My daughter spent her middle school years at Margarita and I was there weekly for three years as a parent, as a substitute, and as a parent volunteer. I can't tell you how many times over those three years I told friends about our great school and how lucky we were to be there. And every time I would say "We have great kids and families. We have great teachers and staff. But the most important thing we have is Mrs. Hayes. Our principal creates a culture every day of success and cooperation for our students. She is a true leader and we wouldn't trade her for anyone. She is always kind, motivating and welcoming to kids and adults, she fosters an atmosphere of success for our school. She is a class act and it is our loss if she was not to continue at Margarita.

Class act administrator. Exemplary female role model for ALL students and not afraid to do what is best for kids. Truly a Temecula tragedy if we lose her and my kids are done with middle school so I definitely don't have an agenda here. Just enormous respect for an amazing principal.

From a parent perspective, Mrs. Hayes has been phenomenal! I have had to work with her regarding student issues and she worked closely with me immediately.

To the people trying to fire the best principal in the universe, Mrs. Hayes is hands down the best principal you will ever find to run a school. Her determination and leadership has positively impacted an endless amount of people's lives in Temecula and I'm sure many other places as well. Mrs. Hayes has put in so much effort and hard work into making Margarita Middle School, in my eyes, the best school in this city. MMS would not be the enjoyable place it is without her sense of humor, kindness, and willingness to help each and every one of her students. She gets to know her students and cares for them like no other. Mrs. Hayes is one of those people that when you see her, she brightens up your day. She is one of those people where she makes the world a better place. She is extremely selfless and always puts her students and others before herself. From personal experience, she is always there when you need someone to talk to, even about the little things. Whenever I see her, she always has the biggest smile on her face and greets you with a hug. On top of all these great characteristics, she is also one of the wisest, most smartest people I have ever come across in my 18 years of living. She directs you to making the right decisions and always looks out for your best interests. Taking away this loving, fun, incredible lady, Mrs.Hayes, away from the school she has developed over the years would be deeply wrong and I guarantee you would 100% regret that decision in the end when you look back. This woman has a family to support that she loves very much and this would be unfair and cruel to someone who has done nothing but great things for other people in her life. I can't even believe this is happening. Not only will I be heart broken but my son will too. :(
Mrs.Hayes is an outstanding exemplar of an educator. Her dedication to the school and the students is one to be commended not punished. She has done outstanding work and had made Margarita what it is today an outstandingly academic success. I would hope that her staff would stand up to support her and not fear the rath of the union which is trying to out her. My children would greatly miss her influence at such a great school.

Hi my name is Brooklyn Frederick. For starters I love Mrs Hayes. She is honestly the best principal a kid could ever have and that I could ever have! She has done so much for me and I appreciate everything she has done for the school. She comes to all of my strings events and supports all of the sports teams throughout the year! I am so happy she is our principal and I know that I would not be who I am today if she hadn't been a part of my life as a friend and a principal!!! I ❤️Mrs. Hayes

Karen is an amazing principal. I am a mom of four. Three who have attended MMS and one who will start in the fall. I can't imagine MMS without her guidance.

I had a lot of interaction with Ms Hayes when I worked for the City of Temecula and she was not just professional but a joy to be around. I haven't encountered a principal that knew so many kids by name and their specific needs. I hope the school district doesn't lose such a remarkable employee.
