Give Mrs. Hayes her job back at MMS. She is a great principle and she is best at her job.

Removing a Principal from their assignment takes guts and that what TVUSD leadership did. Do you realize that 3 teachers have taken stress leave this year at MMS and now a 4th may follow by the bullying behavior or people (teachers/parents/students) posting signs on a teachers door. Is vandalizing the school also a good way to protest? Wearing " blue shirts" is a joke, obviously no teachers with a backbone supported KH because they know she is not worth it. Wearing black bullying t shirts to board meetings and meetings with Mr Ritter is also a joke. Why did KH not respond for comment on the Press Enterprise article? Her lawyer approved statement was a weak attempt to tell her side. You want some real facts? Go to the TVUSD office and ask to take a look at all of the complaints that have been filed and see how many have come out of MMS. Stop by the TVEA union office and read the Principal surveys to see what MMS staff really thinks about KH. She is lucky, and should be grateful, that a teaching position is even being offered to her. Her pride will not allow her to take it because she will not walk the talk that she has asked of her staff to walk the past 13 years. She wants to sit around in an office and say "Hello" to everyone with a fake smile and then march off to teachers classroom to intimidate them. Then throw the famous, "I hired you..." or " you've changed..." She says this to try and make you feel guilty or that you are not loyal. I am glad I will not have to see her face again at MMS.

You obviously did not teach Language Arts and hopefully not Elementary students during your " tenyor"...I mean tenure. Were you in TVUSD? If you were, you probably did not see too many "lazy" teachers. We have all seen "ineffective" teachers but we have also seen some crazy parents, poor Administrators like KH, and spoiled students. All in all, most parents are decent and hard working, most students are compliant, Administrators are fair/ professional, and most teachers are there for their students...and thank you for leaving the profession.

Oh my goodness! What would happen if teachers were mere mortals like the rest of us? No tenyor?

I was in the classroom for 10 years and still hold my California Teaching Credential. I've been there done that and left when I was disgusted with what the Teachers Union was doing to the profession. I saw lazy teachers whine at the union that they had to go to training on weekends or God Forbid the TABU summer break. I saw dangerous teachers kept in classrooms because the union fought to keep them endangering children. I know a lot of amazing teachers. They tend not to have difficulties with principals because they are hard working, continue to hone their craft, and put kids first. God Bless Those Heroes! However we are not talking about those teachers... Are we?

If you are so unhappy with the teachers try doing it yourself and pull your kids out. You do not know the whole story.

Do you hate all teachers, or just the ones that do not like being bullied by Karen Hayes? It sounds like you hate them. Karen and you want everyone to be an at will employee. Well Karen is at will, and the districted has willed her away.

My son is new to this school, however every time we have come up to the school Mrs. Hayes has been very friendly and approachable. It seem like such a shame to loose a woman who cares so much for our kids.

My two children attended MMS and I am appalled that Mrs. Hayes has been fired. Her passion for student achievement and dedication to quality education were truly remarkable. MY children --one in college and one in high school--want to send Mrs. Hayes their support. She obviously had an extremely positive impact on them.

I think TVUSD has made a poor choice. Mrs. Hayes has always been respectful, helpful, and kind to the students of MMS. My youngest child will be graduating from MMS this year. I am thankful that we had Mrs. Hayes while we were there. I pray for the students and parents that will not have her leadership in the future.

After speaking with one of the teachers at MMS. She advised me to speak to Mrs Hayes. She was very inviting and gave me good advice that impacted my daughter in a positive way. My son has never once said one bad thing about his principal. Every awards assembly Ive attended, the kids have all been well behaved and respected what Mrs Hayes had to say. I will always remember her inspiratonal messages.

Mrs. Hayes has exhibited nothing but exceptional character and a heart truly invested in these children. She is a rolemodel who stands up for what's right. We have a right as parents to voice our concern about removing a principal who has contributed profusely to the success of MMS. This is NOT okay Superintendent Ritter.

Mrs. Hayes has been a wonderful Principal for two of my four children. It is hard to believe after the numerous motivational stories, smiles of encouragement, and individual time given to all of her students (and parents) that she will not be their next year to welcome my third child to the Margarita Family. Her love of the students was always first and foremost and Margarita will suffer a huge loss without her.

I love Mrs. Hayes, She has went above and beyond for my oldest daughter when she moved here with us from another county and she wasn't at her grade level. I have 3 kids that have been to MMS and have one that is currently in MMS. I'm praying for her return.
