We have not had Mrs. K-S for a teacher unfortunately, but she has been helpful to me on a few occasions with transitioning Madison into first grade! She was always so nice and helpful! Thank you!

Please stop making so many drastic changes to our school. Young children need a STABLE environment to feel safe, grow and learn in. The students and parents all adore Mrs. Kimball-Sherman.

Mrs. Kimball-Sherman is one of the best teachers my daughter has ever had. She is what every teacher should be. She's kind, caring, driven, supportive and knows how to reach each child's individual needs. She NEEDS to stay at the Roosevelt. The city keeps thinking that all the changes they are making are the right ones but they aren't! KEEP MRS KS AT THE ROOSEVELT!

Both my girls were fortunate enough to be tought by Mrs. Kimball Sherman. She is kind and passionate. She truley is invested in each and every child that comes through her classroom. Our school has gone through so many changes over the last several years, I feel is would be best to keep her at Roosevelt.

I hate to see one of the few constants in our school leave. There has been so much turn over a the Roosevelt. Ms. Kimball-Sherman is not only a wonderful teacher, she also helps support the PTO, supports the children at all the after school activities and the kids know that when there is a school sponsored activity, Mrs. Kimball Sherman will be there. Which is more than I can say for most of the principals that have been there. Please don't take this gem away from our children too. They need her.

In particular, the K-2 grades have been leveled in recent years at the Roosevelt and Joanne has been the mainstay, the voice of reason, the experienced leader and completely beloved by her students. She's the teacher you remember your whole life and come back to hug when you are 17. Apparently Roosevelt doesn't want us to have those teachers anymore, and shame because she is so devoted to this community. Shame on our administration! What next?

My son Nathan Staples is in first grade this year and he has been immensely blessed to have Mrs. KImball-Sherman as his teacher. This has been a critical year for Nathan in his development, sense of self-assurance, and academic progress both in reading and in math. Mrs. Kimball Sherman has played a huge role in this and I am so thankful to her. We need teachers like her and we need those teachers to remain in the setting where they are helping and brinring transformaiton for the better. Mrs. KImball Sherman is the kind of persona dn teacher who puts others first. She gives of herself tirelessly and after everythign she has done at the Roosevelt School she deserves to finish her carrer at this school. The Rooselvelt school needs stability and in order to do so, we need o=to keep the people who have brought that stability for many years and who will continue to do so.

Mrs. Kimball-Sherman is well-regarded and respected Roosevelt teacher. Her record speaks for itself and shows how much she cares about the happiness and success of Roosevelt students. Based on the numerous continuity issues Roosevelt has experienced in the past few years, transferring Mrs. Kimball-Sherman is contrary to what Roosevelt needs. Is this how we recognize, honor, and show respect for our experienced educators? I think not. We want her to remain a member of the Roosevelt community.

My first grade teacher who taught me how to believe in myself. She showed me that I could accomplish anything from a small project in 5th grade to being a professional engineer. I have completed many things from her inspiration. Today, I am a straight A student and I am involved with many extra curricular activities. If one person can inspire another to do well then, why stop at inspiring one person.

Joanne is an excellent teacher. Was wonderful with my nephew and granddaughter. This is complete retaliation from administration. Hang in there Joanne. Our whole family supports you.
