This is a ridiculous and unnecessary Bill. Horses are not dogs, don't eat meat and therefore, their manure is harmless and easily biodegradable. Stop this nonsense.

Horse manure is 80% undigested hay and composts naturally. Completely different from dog poop.

Bagging a pile of horse manure on the trail is ridiculous, it is essentially recycled grass and can be kicked to the side of the trail where it will dry out. I totally agree about the doggie bags littering the trails, why do people bother to put the poo in bags but then just leave them ON the trails!

Very important to keep equestrian trails! Many horse owners must trailer their horses to ride as due to smaller farms and congested roadways, it isn't safe to ride at home. Many of us trailer our horses all over neighboring states to enjoy their trails too. Please keep equine trails open and usable! Thank you

Its obvious that they don't know what they are talking about. And Backcountry Horseman help keep the trails open. What were to happen if we stepped away from trail maintenance for 1 year?
