Do not change the equine classification. This is not the solution to clean trails. It doesn't address issues some people may express.

Equestrian groups contribute thousands of hours of labor in keeping trails open for everyone's use. Pack animals deliver tools to backcountry areas that would be difficult for hikers and impossible for bicycles to carry.

I have been a landowner in equestrian for over 20 years and support the trail systems and organizations. These regulations are ludicrous and would have a huge negative impact on your local community

Please do not make these trails only for those who can remove their natural, beneficial manure, and only for those who can ride with dogs on leash.

Why make it harder for equestrians to enjoy the trails too? We pay taxes just like the runners, walkers, and bikers.

As a walker/hiker, mountain biker, and horse-owning equestrian, I appreciate the need for multi-use trails. Teaching all users how to share trails is far more effective than adding restrictions which are difficult and expensive to enforce. Can you imagine requiring all bicyclists to carry and use a speed regulating system when on the trail? Or, creating a rule where walkers must walk in single file at all times, keeping right? Trails are for us all and we all need to learn the tools to coexist. The trail systems rely on the volunteer efforts of many for everything from large lifts such as fundraising and breaking new trail, to the daily, small clean-ups.

Horse owners, lovers of horses and riders should be able to share this beautiful county with everyone! Stop with the restrictions. Walk around it!!

Horses are NOT pets, they ARE livestock. My pets live and are fed in my home. My horse and cattle live and are fed outside in a pasture. A horse should NOT be considered a pet, and I STRONGLY oppose!

Very dangerous to expect riders to bag and remove horse manure off the trail. We do get off and kick it off trail!

As a regular trail user, cyclist, I enjoy being able to share the trails with horses, dogs, walkers and runners. This variety makes the experience more rewarding and encourages all participants to be respectful and co-operative.
Keep trails open for equestrians.
