Thank you for taking this petition seriously. Equestrians try so hard to take care of these trails.

More and more! Equestrian are being pushed out of trails and areas they have been using for years. Many of these areas were settled decades ago using horses.

Horses need trials too. There is a large population of riders and we are being shut out. Please keep multi-use AS multi-use!!

Request for equestrian riders to comply to these regulations is unsafe for the riders and their four legged friends

Please support equestrians on trails without a leashed dog requirement nor bagging manure. Equestrians should get their horses to keep moving while pooping in order to disperse it better.

Please don't take the only place I can safely take my pony and cart away. My husband and I ride our well behaved horses to the Larry Scott Trail. We have NEVER run into anyone who objects or was even concerned. Please, please, don't take this away from us.

Please keep the trail assessable for horses and unleashed dogs with their horses. Without a requirement to bag horse poop.

Horses have always been considered livestock. Responsible riders know what is expected of them and they have proven themselves over and over again. You cannot always say the same for individuals who are out running their "pets" dogs.

I rode horses on the Larry Scott and other trails regularly when I lived in the area. These proposed changes seem poorly considered given the current useage of the trail system.

As a very senior equestrienne, I have a very tough time remounting my horse out on the trail. We are very good at doing our business off the trail! We also ride with a younger more agile rider who hops off and on to kick the manure to the side. The Equestrian Community has been very responsible at keeping the trail picked up. Our horse trails make our area quite special. Please do not take them away from us via this proposal.

It is ridiculous, dangerous & unreasonable to ask or expect equestrians to bag & carry horse manure with them. The level of manure on trails has significantly decreased in the last few years as equestrians & volunteers keep trails tidy by kicking manure off trails. BCHW Jefferson county has built & continues to maintain county trails. Don't alienate a huge resource & tax base please.
