I have been learning Japanese ever since year 9 and I'm doing A Level. It's such a good subject and the lower years also want to take it for A Level. Don't bring this A Level to a halt please!

Japanese-speakers are the Internet's 3rd largest language group. Japanese cultural exports are exploding. The Japanese are international tourists. ect ect... Most of all, Japanese is a beautiful language. Why is it Japanese to get rid of from A level? Japanese should be the MUST language to learn. This decision is so wrong.

It would be huge loss for UK students if Japanese was not offered at A-level anymore. At my school we teach the language from Yr 7 all the way up to Yr 13. My students love Japanese. Please save Japanese A-Level!

Please keep A Level Japanese, which has been here man years even before Japanese was introduced at schools. It is a shame for the students to lose an opportunity to pursue and obtain a qualification in their interested field.

I am a Japanese teacher with QTLS. I wish to give more opportunities for learning Japanese to young people. One of my students could not get a job for 6 month in the UK after graduating university. He went to Japan and got a job there. Studying Japanese gives a hope and confidence to young potential people.

There are lots of benefit for studying Japanese for the young people as UK has been in close relationship with Japan in terms of both business and cultual and both countries will remain close each other in the future.

Two of my children have already successfully passed their A-Level Japanese examination in the UK and we feel that it's a very important and useful qualification for the children of Japanese nationality (living in the UK) to have.
