Japan is a very important trade partner for, and investor in, the UK.

It's an amazing country and culture that japan can offer and taking the opportunity from the British citizen to learn Japanese should be avoided at all cost. Also as I have 2 daughters who has always treasured their root as half Japanese should be able to propelle their interest in Japanese should they want to and A level has very important role in this matter

I believe the retention of Japanese A level is one of the inportant foundations of the bridge between UK and Japan.

Please do not take Japanese off the A-level! It is like burning a bridge to international communication! Japanese is an important language in the business world and surely brings benefits to the British people especially in today's global society.

It is important to me that there is a Japanese A level. It opens so many doors in life, especially for jobs. I also think it is important in the society to keep the language going

What is the point in getting rid of Japanese A level? It is a very useful language especially in the business world.

I agree with this petition. We need to be able to study and achieve qualifications in languages.

Learning another launguage is a fantastic first step to learn another culture. In this modern global society, why does UK NOT invest on children for diversification? Japan is a very unique country which can offer economical and cultural values to the UK. It does not make sense to close the door to people of next generation.
