The proposed development is a developmental anomaly, increasing the local population over 10-fold with an exponential growth in vehicular traffic. It would put up to 529 lots no larger than .25-.49 acres in the middle of an established rural community where all the neighboring lots (47 currently occupied) measure between 2 to 15 acres.
Also, the development would funnel some 600 automobiles through a single road access point onto narrow, unlit, tar-and-chip Heins Road, then on to Langford and eventually adding to the already gridlocked town of Blythewood.
This site is not currently served by any form of public transportation, and is over 7 miles from the nearest grocery store, more than 7 miles from the nearest gas station, 8+ miles to the nearest major highway (I-77), and 10 miles from the nearest major employment center. Every resident of this development will have to drive long distances on narrow 2-lane roads for every conceivable need, which will create traffic, noise and environmental pollution that the current area residents came here to escape from.

Chose Blythewood to be my home in 97' because of its rural and country nature, growing up in a city environment , this was and is what I want !!! Yes , we've grown in the past yrs but do not need an eye sore of this magnitude invading on our chosen lifestyle !!!
Please .... All take a stand and cause this issue to go away !!!

While I welcome new neighbors, I don't think having this many in one concentrated area like this is a good idea. This neighborhood development, as proposed right now, is not a good fit in the current rural environment. There's a reason this area is called BlytheWOOD!

This is a very bad idea. Just like Mungo, build bad houses that are left over the years that ruin the landscape!!!
Keep it rural!
