Honestly, we need a good coach inside this program. And since when do the parents get a say in this. They aren't the one's out there every morning and afternoon coaching them. They all yell from the stands and try to coach from their seat.

Such a shame. Mr. Hoffert is a wonderful coach and all around person. What should matter are the athletes.... I truly hope the right thing is done for all involved.

Coach Hoffert was one of the coaches that made you feel a connection to him and the game...that’s something that not many coaches can do for a player.

The entire situation is unacceptable. The school board should have never entertained their request for a meeting. They should have addressed their concerns in an open forum like the rest of the community.

Parents shouldn’t be able to dictate who is hired or not hired just because there have a personal beef with someone. If the person that is being hired has no criminal background and is going to do the best job for our children/community the the best man/woman should be hired for the job.

So sad. Coaches need to be allowed to coach. Treating coaches like crap seem to be a common thing in this area. Kutztown ran a couple of good coaches out of town also
