Living in Orleans, we have used this park ever-since getting our pup 2 years ago. It is a beautiful area for us to exercise and socialize our dog and the only off-leash dog park in the area. Please consider this petition and keep Heritage park an off-leash park.

I used this park all year around at least once a day and twice on weekend. Love walking in the woods running down the ravine with all zoey's friends. Best way to end my day week day and start my day on weekend 7:30 am for 2 hours.. This park is definitely a must keep off leash

There are so few off-leash parks in this area, and dogs need this opportunity to play and run with other dogs!

This is the only park in Orleans where dogs can run free (under the supervision of their owners, of course), run through the woods, or play with their furry friends. As a resident of Orleans, I am so grateful to have this park in walking distance to my home. My dog loves her time spent at this park, mostly because she does not enjoy being restrained by a leash. This is a happy place for most dogs and they deserve to have this area preserved as an off-leash park. PLEASE consider this petition. Thank you :)

The city should go after offenders instead of punishing everyone. Go after the dog owners who do NOT pick up after their dogs, or who allow bad behaviour in open space. That would address the problem justly raised by the baseball association. Good subject for a Summer Student Employment Program!?

We use Heritage on a daily basis with our dog. There is a wide open common space as well as a beautiful little trail thru the woods. This is the only place in the east end like it. There are no large fenced in dog parks. This park must be kept as an off leash park Mr. Watson.

we should have more parks like that. we have parks for kids to run and play. dogs are part of the family yet the city they live in makes them feel they are not welcome. We pay licence fees for them where does all that go. put it towards more dog parks and some with little pools for them

My dog Sam and I love the off leash experience at Heritage Park. It would be sad to lose the use of the park especially since there are so few off leash parks of this quality in Orleans. Please don't take our Park!!

It is a great park for everyone including dogs who are off leash. I run through the park daily for over 15 years and never had an issue
