Please save the theatre program at NLHS. This program allows so many students to feel included and accomplished. It gives them life long skills which transfer into their adult life.

As a theater person, I recognize good theater when I see it. On a high school level this is great theater. We continue to be blown away at the talent of these young people. I am also amazed that money can be found for sports programs, but when it comes to the arts there is never enough to go around.

The awards these kids have earned with Ms. Pratt should be enough. We need to find a way to help fund theatre better at North Lincoln High School.

The theater program at NLHS is absolutely superior. There is no doubt that Hannah Pratt’s leadership, passion, commitment, and guidance has created a program that is one of the best in the state.
It would be a tragedy for the students to see this program be terminated and to loose Ms Pratt.

Hanna has grown this program into one that puts on the caliber of shows that win awards. She had built the program to be one that pulls in the community and has helped put this school on the map of places to be.

Hannah has brought countless accolades and recognition to NLHS and has made it a widely known and respected place for its theater program. Furthermore, she has made an indelible positive impact on her students, giving them something to carry proudly with them as many continue into the field of the arts. I strongly insist that she remain to give future generations the same opportunities.

She has been an amazing teacher for my 2 boys over the past 6 years!! They have excelled in theather because of her dedication to the program at NLHS. It would be a HUGE loss to the students in the district if she leaves. Do the right thing for our amazing children!

(Alleged) mistakes should be trumped by (documented) quality programs that are thriving through outstanding leadership from quality educators. The proof is evident in the consistent award-winning programs through fine arts.
Several schools have already suffered through perceived discriminated of arts programs at the expense of core subjects only.
As a retired “core subject” instructor and a volunteer who has worked with these students every year of Ms Pratt’s employ I know this — and this individual — very well. Please consider the shining program, the student impact and the benefits “post graduation” from an outstanding school — NLHS loss would be someone else’s gain.

Hannah has been an exceptional teacher since she started at North Lincoln. She’s devoted countless hours to make the drama program what it is today. It would be a shame to lose her . The program and the students would suffer because of it. Not to mention the fact that there is a shortage of teachers in NC so why would the school want to lose such a valuable asset.

NLHS theater/drama department will be a loss if Ms. Pratt is removed. Lincoln Co. will loose all respect and recognition in the world of arts. There is no one more qualified for this program and Ms Pratt’s record show it. Please allow her to return to classroom with the support, fairness, and respect she deserves. It is no secret the new administration at North “isn’t for the arts” because this is action behind the words that have been spoken from the beginning. Please bring Pratt back!
