I watched Hadestown this year and it absolutely blew me away. I’m so excited for my daughter to have the opportunity to work with the NLHS theater program in a few years.

I am disturbed that we have received no information on this matter and our students have been left in a precarious position without a teacher during a very important time with Blumey awards and performances which impact our students opportunities for scholarships and advanced school placements.

Really? Cutting the arts, when it's been proven to help students' learning, mental health, and overall progress? KEEP Ms. Pratt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've attended several shows at NLHS over the past few years. I am always completely blown away by the talent and the level of professionalism of these high school students! They are obviously thriving under the tutelage of of their teacher. Please renew her contract

As an alumni of NLHS, and someone who has had the honor to share the stage with Hannah before, I believe she is a wonderful teacher and person. She always puts her students first and has grown the theatre program beyond I could ever have imagined it. Losing her would be losing a true advocate of students and the arts and will hurt students unnecessarily.

My sister has been in musical theatre under Hannah Pratt for 4 years, and now she is going to be studying in one of the top programs for musical theatre thanks to Ms. Pratt. The impact Hannah Pratt has had on NLHS drama club is tremendous

As a parent of a CMS magnet school theater parent- I do not miss a show at North Lincoln, what Ms Pratt has done with their program is amazing! I hope she can continue to do great things at North Lincoln.

I have watched Ms Pratt direct her students with kindness, encouragement, compassion and knowledge of everything you can ask for in a drama teacher. She has taken this program to heights it would never have achieved and recognition across Western North Carolina as “The Best of The Best”. It would be a shame to lose this dedicated teacher.

The entire arts educator/theatre community in NC (and most of SC) recognizes the creative visionary that Ms. Pratt is. It’s time our county and school administrators understand that as well.

Why would you fire a multiple time Blumey winner? We are big donors and I’ve been told there is no money missing.

Hannah is an excellent theater arts teacher. She has developed an incredible award-winning program the school and community should be proud of. It will be an incredible loss to these students if she is unable to continue.

As an alumni of NLHS (class of 2006) and a local actor/singer, I was blown away by the first show I saw at NLHS (beauty and the beast) compared to the theater program I was apart of at North many years ago- never met this teacher, but she is obviously incredible to cultivate such an impressive program, and she needs to stay!

She has truly been a blessing to both of my children. We’ve enjoyed all of the award winning performances, and her guidance with the students is second to none.

As a former Blumey judge, what Hannah has done in such a short time and with limited resources is nothing short of amazing. She has turned the NLHS theatre program into a program that educates, inspires and gives opportunity to her very lucky students. I don’t know about the classroom issue but I do know public education, theatre education and the challenges faced by theatre teachers on a daily basis. Keep Hannah on your team so that your students can continue to soar.

I met Hannah for the first time after her show and you can tell how much passion she has for theater and for the kids she teaches she’s an amazing person!
