Free green waste to tip generates income for council as they resell it. Block sizes in the shire are large and green bins are insufficient to cater for amount of green waste produce

Without the ability to clean the fire prone area of Macedon ranges of its green waste is just ludicrous there will be a huge increase in fire risk to the area and will cost council more in the long run inrecovery costs. Do your job council you don’t even clean up roadsides or proper roadside mowing

I vehemently oppose this new measure. It is not in the best interests of the residents of our local community. Do only what produces the greatest good for the greatest number.

Charging ratepayers will undoubtedly result in illegal dumping.....not only a dangerous bushfire risk, but expensive to remove ,,,,,,may even deter people from clearing their properties ,,,, again, a bushfire risk. why not compost or chip....give back to the earth and residents?

Charge us for green waste , then charge us for the compost. Hmm. What next, you charge us for breaking in, then exhaling?

I would rather recycle than burn - keep the green waste disposal free

I buy the processed green waste as bulk mulch, I shouldn’t also be paying to drop it off.

We always have excess debris, the green bin is not enough. No tip passes, we can't burn off.

Charging for green waste means fire prevention will be even harder to achieve, this will end up costing council more in recovery after a catastrophic event.

Keep it free, stop passing on more and more fees to the people. It’s getting ridiculous!

Ridiculous move by our poorly managed council. They will now create more illegal dumping in our local areas.

We shouldn’t have to pay for something that the council ends up ultimately profiting off…
