We would rather take greenwaste for mulching at the transfer station but will now stockpile and burn it.

Keep green waste drop off free. It’s a rural area with high fire risk that requires careful management. Let’s be thoughtful about what we are encouraging and discouraging when applying fees.

This should be a free service.-residents do all the work and shoulder the responsibility. Council profits from the mulch, which you have to shovel yourself otherwise there is a charge

We live in a high fire risk area and with free green waste disposal it gave people good incentive to clean up around their properties. With the amount that people pay in rates it should still b a free service.

Green waste should be free no matter what. I was told we have to pay due to tye price of tye mulcher they hire, well buy 1 then you wont have to charge anybody.

This fee will dramatically increase the amount of burning off carried out, with an accompanying increase in fire risk and pollution. A very short sighted decision.
