This seems to be a backward move and encourages green waste being illegally dumped . Surely it is a priority to keep our properties free of weeds, overhanging branches etc(we are constantly reminded by CES and Council)to alleviate the ever constant threat of fire.

Wholeheartedly agree with this petition. Charging for green waste when rates are already so high is ridiculous. They will be charging us to fix our roads next which are long over due and an embarrassment to the shire.

With the dangerous burning off conditions we contine to experience (wind, wind, and more wind) it's impossible to safely burn everything off. We are creating additional and unnecessary fire risks as people cannot afford to pay to dump green waste, especially those who live on acreages.

It’s a total joke. We get charged for everything now. Rates keep going up and the shire won’t do anything especially around Macedon!
