We have a very limited selection of healthy food available for take out in Fuquay. Getting rid of food trucks will not make me go to the few restaurants we have in Fuquay. Getting rid of food trucks will just make me drive to raleigh for food and beer.

Some food trucks I'd follow anywhere....including if they drove into the ocean!!! I love that I get an option to try different foods here in Fuquay-Varina rather than driving to different cities and shopping there instead. Think about the bigger implications.

Food trucks have become a regular part of vibrant downtown/urban areas and they have helped make downtown FV into an interesting place to hang out on a Friday or Saturday night. If they go many of us will, too--to Apex, Cary and Raleigh--back where we used to go when interesting food choices were nowhere to be found in FV. And we'll take the money we're spending in the breweries with us. We'll do more shopping elsewhere too, simply because we're there (and choices abound.) All that lovely sales tax revenue? Gone, gone, gone. And Fuquay will go back to being that sleepy nothing-open-after-5pm town everyone drives through to get where they need to go.

I love supporting our local restaurants as well small business food trucks! I'd like to also point out these trucks are just not in our proper downtown areas but other places in town i.e. Jonathan Holland had them nearly every Thursday and The Garden Hut had them every Saturday through spring and early summer.

This is ridiculous!!! Another stab at helping us business owners have less success in the Town of Fuquay! What are they thinking?? As you know they had me take my bay banners down that promoted my services at my auto shop. Then they felt like their beautification of the town was more important than people knowing my business is there, by inhibiting me from taking down trees blocking my street sign. It is hard enough to make it in this world as a small independent business owner!!! We love coming to the Fainting Goat Brewery and we love being able to get food and snacks from the food trucks while we are there -- because we get hungry! Why can't they see that they need to help us, not hinder us!!!
