I commend people who have chosen to start a business with a food truck! It's fun to visit different "restaurant on wheels", especially during a festival. More choices are offered than just junk food and sweets!

People need to eat, but you can only eat the same thing so many times. Food trucks bring variety.

Please allow the food trucks to operate. It's good for the small businesses and attracts people to downtown Fuquay Varina.

Keep the food trucks not only for the businesses mentioned in this petition, but for the people of Fuquay-Varina and surrounding areas that patronize the downtown area. Always nice to have a variety to select from.

Please don't move backwards FV. Who do you think is going to be feeding the folks at the balloon festival?

I've lived in F-V since 2012. When I first moved here, the dining options in downtown Fuquay were...well, there really was just Cooleys. Now there is a thriving downtown, and food trucks are part of the excitement that bring me downtown. The presence of food trucks downtown get me out to the area. Sometimes I'll get my full meal from the truck, but sometimes I'll just get an appetizer and decide to go to The Meeting Corner. In any case, I wouldn't be in Downtown Fuquay without the presence of the food trucks.

Food trucks, like bands, have followers, people that will come out just to eat from them. This in turn brings people into Fuquay-Varina who otherwise would never come. Once here, they see what fab town we have and next time return to spend money in other local stores.

Food trucks are awesome and allow other businesses to showcase some incredible variety at our local businesses. These trucks in addition to other local businesses benefit from the generosity of places such as The Mill and The Fainting Goat. I've visited both establishments and have carried in food from Anna's and The Meeting Corner. I hope, as a community, that we haven't become so simple minded that we don't want all types of local businesses to succeed. A decision to stop food trucks in downtown will be detrimental to what is proving to be an up and coming downtown scene.
