The elephant whole face cut off and her babies are standing there left without a mother....Etsy allows Elephant Ivory to be sold on their site... Elephants are among the world’s most intelligent, sensitive animals and possess both empathy and self‐awareness. They live in close family groups that are now being torn apart by a new wave of poaching that has swept across Africa due to a growing demand for ivory. More than 33,000 African elephants are killed each year.

I have been selling my completely handmade items on Etsy for nine years. I am a successful seller but my customers this year don't even understand that what they are buying is handmade-to-order. My revenue thru Etsy has plunged this year.

Real true artists are struggling to keep food on their table because we can.not compete with these manufacturers from china.and Hong kong. ITS a shame that money and greed could just take over like this. Etsy was founded for artists/ crafters to sell their handmade products. let china sell somewhere else. Go.back to.how it was before thank you

I recently came across two different "shops" on etsy that were selling the exact same products - obviously from a factory. They appeared to be well made and not cheap materials, but I still feel poorly for artists trying to compete with the extremely low prices of large-grade production items.

I have sold my handmade items on and off for several years. I recently decided to devote more time and effort to my shop. Recently it has become more difficult for buyer to know which items are handmade by the seller or "handmade" by a wholesaler from China or some other country. I find it next to impossible to compete against these sellers becsuse they have way more listings and lower prices. I was so happy several years ago with Etsy and the quality of the handmade items listed there. Now I am rather disappointed by the listing being misleading and false claims in the listing. Please bring back thr old Etsy where handmade is truly handmade.

I am an active user of Etsy and appreciate it so much because it is for the people by the people. Hand made goods and local crafts don't get the appreciation they need, this website aids this. Changing it would only discredit everything they've said they are about. I AM FOR KEEPING IT HANDMADE!
