Not in Easley. This is too small of a town for such a process. This will drive down the costs of homes in our town. This cannot be allowed.

This type of facility does not belong near numerous sub divisions. The impact on the environment, individuals health and home values will be extremely negative. Stored tires will collect rain water and moisture attracting disease carrying mosquitos. Additionally, there are people who have asthma, copd and rubber sensitivity within a short distance of the parcel. Proteins from the rubber will escape in the recycling process and become airborne. Not to mention the increased truck traffic in the area. Pickens County and Easley will be stuck with an environmental cleanup when this firms lease runs out or ceases operation.

Way to close to beautiful neighborhoods and the two lane road there now is already to small and way to busy. Need to move it out of prime real estate location.

This type of business belongs far away from human population area due to health and quality of life. There is plenty of land that may be more suitable in County posable near the county dump.

My family and I live in a neighborhood less than a mile from the site of proposed tire recycling and disposal. I have a tremendous concern for the possible negative impact on, the environment in the area, traffic, health to people as well as wildlife and the effect on property value. The county commerce/industrial park location comes to mind for this type of business.

I am in agreement with anyone who says that there has to be health issues and concerns associates with burning tires. If there has to be such a facility, it should be out where there are no people living in the area. Never in a populated city or near a neighborhood. NO!
