As a parent whose child suffers from asthma and other pulmonary issues, I am terribly concerned that this is a possible option for the space. The rubber burning process would not only greatly endanger my child's health and well-being but all who are in the path of the emissions as well.

This would not be good for Easley or the citizens of Easley. My husband has COPD and this could cause him serious medical problems.

We are opposed to this type activity being located so close to a heavy residential area. We had a constant noise problem with the old kayak facility, which they never were able to remedy and this type facility will be more of the same, including a mosquito breeding ground from old tires being deposited at the facility, fumes from tire burning and additional truck traffic.

I live in Cardinal Woods in Easley and I am opposed to the potential tire recycling facility that I am hearing about. This will certainly drive down property values; and quite possibly have adverse effects on the environment.
