Keep Dr David Overgaard at Canyon Heights Elementary

Dr. Overgaard is very dedicate to students needs and other responsabilities as Principal, and for our family make all sence to finish this school year as Principal of Canyon Heights El. School

Dr Overgaard has been such a positive influence on the school this year and the kids have noticed! Please have him stay on the full year to give the school the leadership it needs.

Dr. O has been an incredible addition to the school. He has been a positive force of change and inspiration. We had hoped he would become a permanent part of the Canyon Heights school community. We would be very disappointed to see any change made to the administration of the school half way through the school year as this is not good for the school, teachers or the students (particularly given the admin changes that took place in September as school was starting up). At the very least Dr O should be allowed to finish the school year.

Please let Dr Overgaard continue the great work he has done with Canyon Heights for the remainder of the school year.

Dr. Overguard has been great and we would like nothing more than to see him finish out the year.

Please avoid the unnecessary disruption of changing principals again this school year.

Kids need consistency and strength. We need to do what is best for our children.

We would love to have Dr. Overgaard stay until the end of the year. He has been a great asset to our school.

I cannot fathom a scenario where it would make sense to replace Dr. Overguard half way through the year (unless he is anxious to get back to his "retirement"). I have only heard positive feedback. Let common sense prevail!

Dr. O. has proved a reinvigorating force, and we would love him to stay!

Dr. O is truly the best principal our boys have had in the time at Canyon Heights. Makes no sense to bring a replacement in.

Dr. Overgaard is a caring and compassionate principal, who genuinely wants every student to be their best. He has been a huge asset to Canyon Heights and has brought much needed leadership to the school, which has been lacking for several years. The student body needs him to continue implementing the policies, which he has initiated in order to bring about meaningful and substantial change.

David has been an entirely positive and effective leader. His kind approach has lent stability to Canyon Heights and I’m quite concerned that if we lose him at this crucial time, it will be disruptive to the school’s improved and transforming morale. Please keep him!
