PLEASE keep Dr. Burnette!! She has been SO amazing with both of my children since she came to FMCH when my daughter was 2 (now 12) and now my son who has just turned 3. My daughter would be devastated if she lost her doctor. We WILL follow her wherever she chooses to go if she is forced out of FMCH. She is the reason I even continue to go to FMCH.

She’s patient, kind, respectful, trays her patients and families like her own and would answer calls and messages 24 hours a day if she can! We can not loose this wonderful Doctor! She’s an important if not one of the most important parts of our community!

I was disappointed to hear of Great River taking over FMCH for just this type of thing. Leave our Drs. alone!!! Keep yours in Burlington and leave our great Drs. @ FMCH where they are.

WOW!! Thank you everyone for your kind words. Doc is in tears over the love everyone has shown. She loves her “kiddos” and it kills her to think she will have to leave. It’s the LAST thing she wants to do but she must be able to supper our family(good knows I can’t lol) also it’s not just about money, Great River has changed other aspects of the contract that are not reasonable. While this petition is GREAT, I would also suggest you make it known to Great River’s administration, both Burlington AND Fort Madison, and to Fort Madison’s elected officials that you do not like the idea of leaving. We have grown to love this community and made some great friends so THANK YOU all!!
