Last year was my daughter's first year at Oster, She was excited that she was able to learn sign language. At home she was teaching her lil sister and myself what she learned.

This is a great program not only does it help the students that need the program but I believe it has shown the children they are all one. they are in the same class and not isolated and my daughter has even learned to sign and communicate with some of the students. Its a great program and it teaches all youth at the school a great lesson . and not to judge or discriminate others . I love Oster and this program . Please keep the program at oster.

Our daughter is not in the program but has made many friends there. This program benefits all the children and their families in the Oster community.

Both of my boys attended Oster, and had many of the DHOH students in their classes. They both have developed friendships and learned better communications skills from having these students and the interpreters in their classes. Not only have they learned, but I have also learned from these kids, and love seeing them grow and thrive in the Oster community. My older son is currently going into 8th grade at Dartmouth, and one of the boys who is integrated from DHOH and has been in many classes with my son since Kindergarten, is now in Symphonic band with him. They both play Oboe, share their music, and help each other strive to be better performers by competing with each other for 1st chair. Having the program at Oster and as part of the overall Union School district benefits everyone, immeasurably.

The DHOH at Oster is like family! Please don't leave, Oster needs you as much as the DHOH needs Oster.

I went to zoster and loved this program and was able to make friends with a deaf student. I still remember some signs from 1st grade!
