I love Mr. Dhanapalan! He has always been so nice and appreciative. I see how he treats people and it is with the up most respect. I have never seen him be rude or dissrespectful to anyone. I have had Mr. Dhanapalan for two semesters now and I have enjoyed both of them very much. I have learned plenty about history and have gotten very good grades. I don't know what students are telling lies on him, all I know if everyone has an opinion. Just because a student does not like him or they do not get along does not mean he is a bad teacher and need to lose his job. He is one of my all time favorite teachers!

The students are xenophophic? How exactly does this person know this...? He is a great teacher but don't say false things that may or may not be so true. They may not have feared him but they may have just not liked him.

I have not had Mr. Dhanapalan as a teacher. However, I have had his wife as a sub. If his wife reflects him in any sort of manner the. She should definitely keep is job. She was an amazing sub and kept all of the students on track (which is rare for a sub).

I think he's a great teacher who shouldn't be moved. The only reason is because people tell so many lies in him. Just a couple of guys mess around and he's the one who gets the blame let Jd stay!

I was an exchange student last year and therefore only spent a year at East High. Nevertheless, I loved having class with Mr. Dhanapalan. He's a good teacher.

Mr.Dhanapalan deserves to stay. Compared to other teachers, he is one of the best. He cares about his students and always goes out his way to make sure you're doing good, even after you're done with his class. Letting him go is going to hurt East Carteret, we'd be losing a teacher that does his job well and also cares about it. That is extremely rare these days and who ever is making the desicion to fire him needs to reconsider.

Taught me when I first moved to Carteret and it was his first year. He was amazing and taught the class as a whole. He may not have had the best control over the class, but no teacher really does during their first semester.

I would like to keep him there for our children. He is an extremely nice person in school and out. A few students shouldn't spoil it for all the other students. This isn't just affecting him, it's his entire family.

I loved this class so much. He's such a fantastic teacher, and an even better person if you sit down and talk to him one on one. You can honestly tell how much he cares for each of his students... Even the ones that give him trouble. He really shouldn't be fired over some spoiled kids who have no consideration for others.

Dhanapalan is such a great person. He cares about his students and knows the material he teaches. He's one of the bet teachers I've had and deserves to stay.

I personally feel they should keep him. He taught me a lot about U.S. History, and I passed the exam with flying colors. To say he does an inadequate job, is a joke. Just because certain students "dislike" him, is not a good enough reason to make such false allegations. Praying for him, and his job.

He has definitely made a difference for all of us, and he shouldn't be let go due to the fact that some people just don't like him. He is good as an educator, and as a person.

To say that Mr. Dhanapalan doesn't adequately perform his job is a blatant lie. He cares immensely for his students and wants for them to succeed in all aspects of life. He deserves better than having his job terminated for some kids not agreeing with his teaching style.
