I had Mr. Dhanapalan his very first year at East, he is a lot better then most of our other teachers that come from a different country.

I have had Mr. Dhanapalan as a teacher for 3 semesters. I really think that Mr. Dhanapalan is a great teacher. He truly cares about his students. He wants them to pass, but he does his very best to make sure we are learning all of the information for the final exam as well. He has more respect for the rules and expectations of East Carteret than a lot of teachers. He does an excellent job at teaching and in every classroom there are kids who pay attention, and kids who do not. Mr. Dhanapalan works with all of his students. He tries to get all of us on task, and some just do not want to work. He tries to help them, and keep them in class as much as he can. It is hard with some students. I think with a better balanced classroom Mr. Dhanapalan would not have to deal with all of the trouble that people are causing him. It isn't his fault.

he is a very good teacher he always helps us when we need it but also challenges all of us he cant help that he has bad students all the time if he had a honors class it would be different
