If it's temporary and the city is on board, what's the real issue?

Making our neighborhood festive and seasonal is a fine way to take pride in where we live. I hope more people make the exterior of their homes reflect beauty and care.

This by-law is an unnecessary war on holidays.

Chris and Frankie always have such fun decorations that brighten up my Facebook newsfeed and the citizens of Philly (the greatest city). To suddenly not allow them to express themselves on their property that they own and maintain is just cruel!

Life is too short and too painful to worry about something that brings joy to the neighborhood and brings positive attention to the building. So long as the decorations are not affecting the building and compromising its structure there should be no issue.. Let them decorate.. They are clean, there is no mess, the decor is subdued, classy, keeps the street nice, and brings smiles to peoples faces
