Cape Coral Clsoing D&D would just be another stupid blunder on the part of the Cape Coral city government. D&D has been a staple in the area for years. It's my go to bait shop if I'm headed to Matlacha or Pineisland. I have many fond memories taking my siblings / family fishing for little snapper and sheeps head on the property there. Closing this store to open something else would be a literal travesty.

I grew up with my family launching our boat at D&D. D&D is and has always been a well maintained, family operated boat launch and bait shop.

I’ve been buying bait and fishing gear there my whole 20 years of life. The people in this store are very knowledgable about fishing and very helpful when it comes to picking the right gear.

The City might want to put something else there from what I understand! It's not fair to the fishing community we already don't have enough places to launch boats and get bait n tackle! They need to make D&D bigger put marine gas pumps there and make it a landmark for real because this place is awesome! They literally have 10 restaurants in Matlacha why shut down something that has been successful for many years and that is a resource to our Community! SMH keep D&D

I always get my bait and tackle from here! I would really hate to see this place go. Even it it stayed and I’d still like the same owners. They have had this shop from what I understand 40 years.
