Dr Jenkins was a man who moved heaven and earth. Now Dan is trying to once again do what is right for ECU. Keep him

As soon as I and others started comparing him to Leo, you knew there would be some haters west of 95.

I'm pretty convinced the last Chancellor didn't even like students. What a great change to have someone who wants to interact with students.

Dan has done nothing wrong. It is shameful what some are insinuating about his actions.

I do not see the harm. He seems not to be an elitist...a good thing in my book. 73 year old retired academic librarian

The best Chancellor ECU has ever had. What a shame that officials have put him on leave.

This is more than absurd, no basis for dismissal, just a normal guy out for a beer.

We need someone with business acumen to get our financial house in order. Dan seems more than capable!! Media has portrayed this man in a bad light just to satisfy a few loudmouths

Having a chancellor that takes time to get involved in students lives builds community strength. Chancellor Dan is not in this for the money like many others, he is here to make university a pleasant experience and help make wonderful community memories!

Interacting with students in a public place is not a crime nor is it inappropriate. Doesn't appear there was anything shady if they're all taking selfies & posting them on social media just for grins and giggles. Sad everything is blown out of proportion these days!
