I love Dan's interest in our culture. He is a grown man and should be allowed to frequent a public place and have a few drinks if he chooses. As for the selfies, no one has a problem with his selfies at games, tailgating, or around campus. Stop making a big deal out of nothing.

Dan happened to sit down at a table with me and friends during lunch one day and he made a point to ask each of our names and where we were from and what department we were from. He was very nice and I never felt uncomfortable, just impressed that a chancellor would give us the time of day, considering some past chancellors we've had...
