I have been a user of Crystal Lake for many years. I am now considered a Senior Citizen. I am not able to walk down a steep trail to the lake. If the current road is not kept open and the erosion mitigated, (which I am sure is possible), or a new mobile access road built, you will depriving myself and many other Seniors, persons with disabilities, younger children and others of this treasured and revered spot.

I grew up on Chandler Road in Quincy and this was always our weekend getaway. I would be disgusting if it were to be closed. I’ve got 3 young kids that I’ve been dreaming of taking up there so that they could enjoy and appreciate the amazing area I got to grow up in.

The road needs to be kept open for all of Plumas County to enjoy, I am an avid OHV user there should be plenty of money in that account to restore the road god knows they waste plenty of OHV funds on none motorized means!

Access to this lake needs to remain open to the public not shut down just because some environmentalist in power wants to close it. The road has remained in the same condition for the past 30 years...keep it open!
