I lived in Quincy for 7 years, my family still goes to the area to enjoy the forest, hiking, etc. Please provide another access road before you close the existing one.

Please just make a new road that doesn't erode into the lake before you destroy the old one. That's all anyone is asking here. Be courteous and allow people to enjoy the true beauty of Plumas County

I love this lake. Its beauty is amazing, its close location makes for fun day outings. It would be ashame to loose access to such a great place. It's also sad that they continue to limit access to the forest thus limiting people's ability to gather fire wood or enjoy these places. I've been seeing alot of road to be decommissioned road signs since last year. What will people do when everything is restricted.

Sediment has gone in the lake since it’s creation.
Install sediment traps, pave the road into it, build a parking lot at high water mark.

Install erosion control measures such as riprap or checkdams along with a swale to direct stormwater flow. This may help, but I doubt the FS will want to pay the money for this construction
