I've been in quarantine for almost 6 was. Now because some a**hole transferred a prisoner it's like we have to start all over. Better safe than sorry.

Please keep our county closed and sheltered in place. We've done so well until this outbreak from an outsider came in. Don't open us up to more outsiders who will not only possibly spread more germs but place them in harms way as well as they possibly come in contact w infected people here and take it back to their communities. Do not open up our businesses, parks, beaches or any thing for another month. Lets keep what's happened contained and keep Coos County residents safe.

It's too early. There is a large poplation of the most vulnerable living in this county. Keeping them safe should be the first priority.

As a medical professional I feel opening at this time is a very bad idea. We have obviously just started where others are ending in this event. Our start is no where near their end. By Coos County opening at this time is absolutely a threat to life even more so due to the elderly population percentage.

We have 8 cases of this virus at our minimum security prison. One of these is an employee of the prison who lives in our community. A few of the prisoners are being released who are being told to voluntarily self quarantine without any outside monitoring. Opening Coos County now would be the most irresponsible decision the Commissioners have made.

I work in healthcare and cannot bring this virus to the elderly that I care for. Leave things closed and no vacationers from anywhere. We do not have the resources to take care of thousands of vacationers and our own elderly or compromised.

It is Way Too Soon to open our County. We are all suffering, emotionally and financially, but we are Inviting Death when we encourage visitors from other areas during a Pandemic! Stay the Course to Survive!

As Shutter Creek blows up and the employees are still out and about we are poised to become a “hot spot” with many fatalities in our rest homes.
