In addition to the health concerns stated in the petition we are also still seeing grocery store shortages. Please consider what impact opening up tourism will have on our food supply.

Anything complicated requires a life flight to Portland. We need to know the state is ready to back us up before we invite our seasonal guests.

With such low confirmed cases in our county, now is not a good time to reopen everything. Keep people away. Keep cases low.

I certainly agree with the above folks who know what they are talking about. Doesn't take a rocket scientist after all to read and/or listen to medical/science experts. This is a time when we all should not 'try it and see what happens.' Ever hear that stupid remark? PLEASE don't open Coos County yet!

Please don't encourage tourists and outsiders to be here right now. I know this is a difficult time, however, it will only prolong this epidemic and threatens the safety of our county even further.

Please keep the county closed until mid-May. We have our first case in the community thanks to DOC mismanagement.

Opening now is playing with fire and demonstrates key businesses are selfish, self centered and dont care about their cities. Local mayors who dont override this decision are equally culpable of the coming devastation. Why should campgrounds open to people from everywhere and we can't go to local restaurants where we can maintain space requirements.
