NO to the proposed redeployment of the Kmart shopping center for a multitude of reasons.

This proposed project is much too dense for our community. The additional traffic/parking would be intolerable.

My actual residential address is Jax Beach but I feel we are all THE Beaches altogether. I hope that I am able to be part of the group to stand against this.

Agree we can't have the proposed changes made to our little beach town. The traffic would be insane and it's already super conjested when events take place at the beach... that will become a normal thing. If the exception is made for this change then that sets an example for other future developers that they can hold this change over us for something else the community doesn't agree with. We aren't Miami Beach!

This city does not need a development like the one proposed. More retail would help.

Infuriating comes to mind. Outside developers with no genuine interest in our community should be illegal.

NO LARGE SINGLES APARTMENTS in Neptune Beach! We are a small quiet town and we like it that way. The one this company built in Jax Beach is already causing problems. These apartments mean a dramatic uptick in traffic, noise, and crime. We will need more police and property values in the area will tank! We don't want to become Jax Beach North!

No, No, No to apartments in this congested area, there must be a better use for this property that would not create such a traffic burden on an already crowded area.

There would be a ripple effect that we don’t need!

Beach towns do not have the infrastructure for this type of development.

Neptune Beach, Atlantic Beach and Jax Beach - in their present state - are precisely why I recently moved to the area. Development like Atlantic 500 is simply not appropriate for this area, and must not be permitted, NO TO ATLANTIC 500!

The concern for me is the precedent...will the next developer demand a similar zoning change and point to this one as justification. If you open the exception door it will be difficult to close.

No to the apartments. Or any apartments. No to a crosswalk.
