Last year we bought our home on Twelve Oaks Lane in Neptune Beach. We specifically targeted NB because of the neighborhood feel and lack of apartments and hotels that most beach towns have. Please preserve this wonderful area.

The beaches community does not need more apartments. There is way to much congestion on 3rd street now. The owner of the land doesn't live at the beach. He lives in Virginia and the company only is thinking of making money not about the beaches area or the people who own a house at the beach.

I do not want apartments build on this land!!!!’ I was recently told that if I purchased an existing duplex in Neptune Beach, I would have to turn it I tona single family home because it had sat vacant for 2 years and since the population was too high in Neptune Beach, I could not keep it as a duplex. So, if an existing duplex can’t be built because of the “high population” in Neptune, why should we accept 174 apartments. The traffic is already bad and will just be so much worse! Do not approve this!

NO apartments in the old KMart shopping center in Neptune Beach. Traffic is terrible here and we don't need more people and vehicles crowding us.

I oppose the structure of the rental units and the hotel. I do not want more tenants who are not invested in the long-term health of the community and in the additional permanent traffic (as opposed to local traffic which comes and goes to retail establishments).

The reason I live in Neptune Beach is the small town feeling, where your neighbors know your name. I feel it needs to stay that way.
I don't want to see Neptune Beach turn into another revitalized Jax Beach.
I have voted in every single election for the last 35 years and will remember those who vote for this.

I have lived here since 1981 and I have watched the beaches community grow but this new proposal and idea is wrong for our small family community. Traffic and population will rise 150% and we already have traffic and parking issues as it is.
And what happens WHEN a hurricane hits this area? Times to evacuate go up and when we are only given 2 days, at the most, we fight more traffic.
Do we have enough police in Neptune Beach to handle this, as well? What about EMTs? We lost the volunteer fire department in this beach years ago.
This has to be thought out and not how much money the city will bring in because sometimes money is not that important. You have to listen to the people of Neptune Beach and the surrounding beaches who do not want this.
Will you stand up to for us or will you stand up for your bank accounts?
