My brother I have so much respect for you! He is just a great person. My dad coached my brother’s and we have a brother that served 20 yrs in the army! It is shame that that people have posted a website to try to get him fired. It is so easy to criticize over the internet! If you have a problem with my brother talk to him face to face. This has redefined the word coward! Thanks to everyone for there support for Greg! We have your back! So he won 4 state championships in NC and some people are complaining. Go GREG!

This is crazy! Tell them to them to get a life! Their baby probably not playing so they blame the coach. Move if you don’t like the Coach! I played and Coached against Coach Thomas and he is a great coach and even a better person! Enough said!

Coach Thomas. Gods Got This! You continue to be the man of God you are and everything will be fine! You know we all know what is true about you brother. You are being slandered and lied about which are the schemes of the lowly ones. Those that have no purpose. Thank you for helping change 100s of young athletes lives. You have spent every waking hour at your high school doing the best possible job you can and we all know you have taught kids how to Win in their sports and how to win in their lives. You have lapsed down your life for these kids day in and day out! Thank You Coach Thomas.

Coach Thomas is a dedicated, loyal, and consistent presence at Choctaw and we are fortunate to have someone who displays emotional strength for our kids, not to mention the years of experience he brings to the program. He cares at a personal level for those students and players that he is in contact with. He understands and takes time to figure out the challenges that may be hindering their development, then takes deliberate actions to help them overcome their obstacles. Our community needs leaders that are compassionate, understanding, yet not afraid to give “tough love” when needed. Coach Thomas has been this kind of leader and we need more like him.

Coach Thomas is the greatest high school football I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. While I only played for him for 2 years I can firmly say he changed my life for the better. He was far ahead of his time in implementing a strength and conditioning program and bringing on assistants who were able to change many young men’s lives. The fact that a bunch of over privileged parents who are butt hurt and would stoop so low as to question his ability is ridiculous and shameful.

Greg Thomas is a great coach and an even greater person. He has helped thousands of kids grow into successful young adults - this is a fact that can’t be debated. He taught us how to win and be successful in life. He also helped create a lot of opportunities for people that would not normally have a lot of options after HS. I would not have gotten into the university I attended and played for without his help. It sounds like there is a group of parents in Florida that don’t know how good they have it.

Coach Thomas is a great man and more importantly a great human being. His number one goal is helping boys become men. He is a great football coach with a great winning tradition. Sadly, many people don’t understand what it takes to make boys into responsible men. Too many parents coddle their boys and expect that a coach not hold their boys to high standards. Coach Thomas is “old school”. He expects and demands excellence. Sadly, today’s snowflake parents raise snowflake boys. Snowflakes melt under the bright lights of leadership. Coach Thomas keep doing what you are doing. We need more men like you. Keep inspiring boys to take responsibility and become men. You can never satisfy snowflake parents. Many of these reacting negatively and sheltering their boys from the real world, will sadly wonder 10 years from now why their sons are like them. No responsibility and never made anything of themselves. Coach Thomas is #1 on my list for coaching my children. I want them to be pushed, not coddled. Coach ignore the snowflakes. Keep doing what you are doing. Bear Bryant, Tom Landry, and Dave Thomas are looking down from the gridiron above and they all approve of raising men.

As if this year hasn't been hard enough, can't we just be happy that the children get to play! I support Coach Thomas.

Greg is a great person with a deep rooted love of football and has a lifelong passion for helping those around him achieve their very best. Keep him and support him.

Played under Coach Thomas 20 years ago at Fort Mill High. The three years he coached there was the best years in the last 30 years.
