The local council is still ignoring our requests for sanitation facilities at the car park. I am currently drafting a formal letter to the planning department to demand a meeting. Call your local representative today to insist they prioritize this health hazard.

Given that Cley Beach once had a cafe and toilets & that NWT takes the parking fees, they should provide a temporary loo for the summer months!
The installation of toilets would be of significant benefit, particularly for less able members.
This is desperately needed. It’s not green to drive from the car park to the loos at NWT. They could just be for the summer season.
Whilst not the most attractive addition to the beach, for emergencies it would be beneficial. And I don’t see any harm in charging even a minimal fee to use.
I have been coming to Cley Beach for 65 years and even when there were loos years ago they were poor. Now the beach is so much better known, and the population older, we do need something for humans and some enforced regulations around dogs also.
It might help prevent people leaving their debris anywhere for dogs and small children to find. Once upon a time there was a loo there. There must still be the drainage system where Derick's cafe used to be.

This is much needed and so are bins. A permanent toilet would look better on our beautiful beach. Many campervans stay overnight and sadly they leave too much behind.
