We had a delicious dinner there, We would have enjoyed a glass of wine to compliment the food. Huge mistake to not be granted a license.

In a town with limited options, Cibo is a welcome addition. Having another closed business will only hurt the viability of our downtown.

Cibo is a great addition to Glencoe. Highland Park and Northbrook both allow BYOB, Glencoe should as well.

Cibo has been a great addition to Glencoe. It has given residents of Glencoe and surrounding towns a reason to visit our village and spend time and money here. If Cibo fails due the Village's lack of urgency or strict policies/ regulations, it will send a strong message to others that Glencoe is not a business-friendly locale. Anybody can play "Dr. No". Do the right thing: find a way to facilitate, cut through red tape and say "Yes". Village residents and the business community will all benefit.

I can't believe it has come to this. Why ? We need other things in downtown Glencoe besides banks, nail salons and Dry cleaners. You are not only hurting 2 family's that make their home in Glencoe ,but you are also sending out a bad message to anyone who ever wants to open a business here. Everyone knows why our town is not granting them a liquor license. Everyone has made mistakes and everyone deserves a second chance. Our town is blessed with many intelligent and compassionate people. Certainly we can find away to make this work. SAVE CIBO

This community needs more upscale businesses such as Cibo and less nail salons and dry cleaners! Many store fronts need refurbishing. Cibo is a welcome addition to this area!

I support Cibo and I urge the Village of Glencoe to do the same. Maintaining restaurants - like Cibo - in Glencoe is important to our community's economic development. Assisting small businesses, whenever possible, should be a collective - public and private- objective.

Food is great, staff is friendly, and I'm extremely disappointed in the Village for not awarding them a liquor license when they clearly had intent to make part of their draw their beautiful bar. Why are they forcing now a third business to close in the same location? You would think the Village of Glencoe would be more inclined to help its own businesses thrive rather than witness yet another one get shut down. Keep it open and give them their liquor license already, what's the alternative? Put in another Vernon's clone that can't compete with Red Hen and gets shut down in two years? This is absolutely ridiculous.
