I have dined at Cibo twice since it has opened. The food is excellent and the decor is outstanding. Why our elected officials won't support a local business in allowing them to provide a great dining experience is absurd.

My fear of letting this business fail is the impact it has in downtown and therefore housing demands and prices. Wilmette has created an exciting and eclectic area and the housing prices reflect that it is destination for families. If this closes, this will negatively impact others wanting to invest in Glencoe .

Glencoe should be happy to have a restaurant like Cibo is in their village. It is surprising to me that the village is not bending over backwards to help Cibo become prosperous and successful!!

Please grant the BYOB. We have similar issues in Winnetka and it is a huge problem attracting businesses.

The government, small and large, need to listen to the people. Small communities need to support residents who have and/or want to build up their communities. It's a shame (and a tragedy) that Glencoe would take a stand, without warrant, and destroy a new business.

Glencoe does not need another bank or dry cleaner! Cibo deserves a liquor license or at least the ability to have BYOB!
