Our children have used this library at least weekly since they were babies. It’s hard to express what a loss this would be.

We have an elderly neighbor who no longer drives but walks to this library for exercise and to obtain books. It is the closest library to our neighborhood. I also often walk to the library to retrieve books and browse. I love this library. Please don't close it down.

I have used Cherrydale Library for 25 years. It is a very sweet neighborhood gathering place for toddlers, teens after school, and us seniors. PLEASE DO NOT CLOSE THIS BRANCH!

I am a frequent user of the Cherrydale Library. Closing it would be a tragedy for the residents of our neighborhood, especially for senior citizens like myself who value not only its many services but also because it’s convenient walking distance from my home and an excellent source of daily exercise going to and from. The Cherrydale Library is one of the reasons we chose to buy our house in Arlington. Our children used the library and I continue to use this valued resource.

Please don’t close this library. It’s a staple for the community and important to families. Maybe host more programming there if you think attendance is dwindling.

The library is a resource for the community why close it? How much does it cost to run for a year? I went to this library as a kid and it’s a cozy space for young and old alike. Is this the Arlington Way?

I grew up in North Arlington and continue to live in the county today. Cherrydale Library is an important part of Arlington's heritage and a key community resource. People of all ages utilize this library for a wide range of needs and activities. It is the only library north of Langston Blvd! Arlington County has every reason to keep this jewel in our community.

It’s incredibly disappointing when our neighborhoods have to fight our own elected board to keep these vital community services-our branch libraries- alive. Cherrydale needs to stay open just as Glencarlin needs to stay open. Cost cutting shouldn’t be cut from children and those who rely on libraries. It’s reprehensible and I expect better from supposedly liberal board members. I’d expect this more from MAGA. Do better.
